Pakistan’s reaction to the Bush Doctrine has been somewhat mixed. Musharraf is caught in the middle between pleasing the US to ensure continued military and economic support, and the preferences of his constituents who resent the US presence there. The region is already very unstable because of this tension between the US applying pressure from the outside and the internal desire of the populace to rid themselves of the unwanted American presence.

It was a bright morning when I was going to buy breakfast from a near by pathan hotel located in a good respected area near to Army Chowni. In a matter of no time I heard loud screatches of police mobile, it stopped and from its back end, men in black threw out a girl. All people who were present there were amazed to see her, but some old people (buzurgz) start murmuring about the evil-police.

She was a beautiful girl, with a look of belonging from a descent family, as soon as she woke up (almost in 5-6 minutes), she was crying and was walking as she was having a hangover. There she start asking about her cellphone, but quite amazingly she was not complaining or crying about what might happened last nite with her.

Was she a prostitute? then how come she had such a good acent.

Was she a victim ? then why she was not crying?

Police is evil ? yes, they are but here if a girl agrees and not abducted then what will your answer ?

Is this our country ? No, it is not our country. Materialistic people have ruined it a lot.

People can easily be found on the streets selling the mobile numbers of the girls, this is heck of very hobby of good and well educated boys, but shame on such people. They are sick from their minds. Silly they are ..

MQM has also reacted and said to fight back. Where is our country heading, with this Talibanization. I remember I heard the lines from a reknown astrologist that ” Pakistan will be revolutionized Islamically with the year 2009, it would be so severe that with Azaan people will offer prayers”
