PTCL has announced a new initiative to add a Digit 9 in landlines numbers for Karachi and Lahore numbers. This move has been taken to provide more satisfactory services and to reduce the over all load on lines.
This move from PTCL will surely be adding some more numbers in upcoming to be registered. It is quite mentioning here that since the privitasation of PTCL with Etisalat the parent company has been doing a lot to improvize the basic infrastructure and not just to make money. This could be taken as example for line up privatiastion plans.
Pakistan government can enforce their laws upon the privatization companies to serve with the difference or not to bid for the company. Quality should be the priority.
Hope this proves another upcoming effort to improve the services instead of just lengthening the regular digit number.
