Sindhu Darya Day – 24 January

People of Sindh celebrated Sindhu Darya Day on 24 January for the first time. This initiative was taken by Ministry of Culture and Tourism with the collaboration of KTN News Channel.

Sindhu Darya day is an day when the dignity of the legendary River Indus is celebrated. This River has fed many of the civilizations alone and has always been considered one of the most amazing rivers historically.

Many people see this event as a National liberal event which is quite true at time but with a reason only. These people are the most left behind people specially Sindhis in the country where they were most active to make it and voted largely in favor of Pakistan.

Lastly it is good to see Sindhi people are now getting their rights by their own. They have their own media and its getting strong despite of the national but private channels.
