Extra-Marital Sex, Honour Killings and Religion in Pakistan

This is not the new topic for everyone of us in the Islamic Country, but this could not be accepted as well. Our country though represent a country with limited Islamic values practically and morally yet we like to defend them and portray to possess these values for the sake of our diginity only.

But when we come to the practical values we can see quite negligent behaviors despite of the heavy ban on such illegal activities such as Extra Marital sex lives.

Islam has also provided a way to get hold of your lust and marry upto 4 women (but you have to then treat them equally in all means) even another way is available where you can marry girls and take their responsiblity for the sake of you lust and also possess your wives seperatly to bring your family, quite similar to what arabs do till now.

In Pakistan this kind of life style is very common (though you would be punished high if found as per laws). Once I heard the emergence and common acceptance of extra-marital affairs in India and other foreign countries I was not only shocked but quite happy as we don’t have such thing nor will have so soon.. Yeah I was not expecting it so soon means we have it already lurking in our societies and now the disasters are occurring..

We got a region where honor killings are considered very common (thanks to media) and my disaster word fits so accurately here so that I can even mention many murders we read daily in our media..

We are not only facing the demerits of the west trends and the nature of being away from the religion (negligent behaviors) we are drowning ourselves in both worlds, the present and hereafter..
