Say No to Music PiracyFire Records a music label from the Geo Television Network has taken a bold step against the pirates of Pakistan this week. This resulted in an official crackdown against the popular website Mag4u and its owner.

FIA on the complaints from Fire Records launched a crackdown of its own kind and seized all the electronic data and equipments used to update the website. Though website is still up and functional but it is expected to be taken down soon.

Many people including websites, blogs and similar website owners wrote to Fire Records about the direct crackdown but Fire records being the responsible label responded well in this comment here.

Where they cleared that they have requested the owner of Mag4U website to follow terms or atleast get a legal license for the music which was ignored. Then Fire Record approached the legal authorities and FIA done their job against the owner.

All Pakistan online bloggers and media are supporting the act taken by FIA and Fire Records against the music piracy though it is first of its kind in our country but yet so progressive for music producers.
