Government of Pakistan has awarded highest civilian award Hilal-e-Quaid (also known as Sitara-i-Quaid) to Richard Boucher for the service to Pakistani Intrests. This award was given by President Zardari to Richard Boucher on Monday 05, Jan, 2009. Richard A. Boucher is currently serving as Assistant Secretary for Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs in the region.
This move by Pakistani government is highly critisized among the people of Pakistan and now it seems we only go for the negative aspects of our government. Don’t you think that we should go for some optimistic thinking as well but then some might tag us LOTA or CHAMCHA to that governement. Let’s simply imagine A group of people working and upraising the postive aspects of Pakistan without any intrests, we will be serving a lot to our country in this way.
Why I am saying this because the same award is given to Ambassador of China to Pakistan “H.E. Mr. Luo Zhaohui” for the same services as of boucher but only in a different region. Why didn’t had so much criticizism over this ? Because chinese is our friend and he really served us lot to strengthning bit more ! then where are all those people who did same in past (from china) .. ? and do Boucher and Luo done equal services ?
Bottom line: Simply look for the positive constructive approach towards Pakistan, that’s what we need now.
