ZONG Launced Internet USB Card
Broadband internet connections have already changed many bussinesses in Pakistan, yet in this race many leading telecom providers took a dive but the best is survives it includes the PTCL Broadband, Wateen WiMax, Link Dot Net Launch and much more.
But the latest effort of Mobilink providing wireless broadband internet connections via sims was taken as jealousy factor among exisintg telecoms, and soon rumours popped up about the Zong launching its own wireless broadband connections soon and now here is it ..
Zong has finnally launched its high-speed wireless Broadband services in major cities of Pakistan. This service will be available with a USB Stick which is supported by a built in SIM with EDGE/GPRS activated.
After you have bought the SIM simply you have to plugin in the USB in USB port, and you will be asked to set up some basic instructions and voila you can access the internet on the go.
Along with the internet connection you will be able to Send SMS too

- One time Charges: EDGE Modem - Rs. 9,999
- Monthly: Unlimited GPRS package Rs. 400/month +tax

Isn’t it about time that these kinds of connectivity were made available for home users as well. I mean, Rs. 10,000 is a whopping installation charge. Too much!

I would like to have some info. too on the speeds. WorldCALL (Go4B) has also launched a similar USB Broadband Connection, but currently it’s only available in Karachi.

Dear User of “ZONG USB INTERNET CARD” kindly tell me your experience about the device. Is it use full? What downloading speed it has? How often it gets disconnected etc?
being china made What is about its warranty and guaranty?because usually china made thing I do not like to buy. The card is expansive before buy i think hundred times about its hard ware durability as same time speed. I believe that the line rent is perfectly fine but the 9.999 is amount make us to think ten time to buy. help me regarding it,

last night i used zong 1 hr package but it gave me speed of 4-5 kB Both on PC And my hand set Nokia 3250.i think on RS. 400 package will also have the same speed.
