Dostana banned in Pakistan
Karan Johar Dostan has been banned in Pakistan considering its reputation in India itself. Objectionable ban is imposed by the high court due to possible obnoxious ‘GAY’ content. In India this film is already popped up many discussions over propagating ‘homosexuality’.
Lahore High court issues orders to the chairman of Pakistan Film Censor Board ‘Not to allow the screening of this film’
In the state of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and according to its Islamic law it is illegal and considered obnoxious, and people involved are punished by whipping, imprisonment, or even death.
Moreove like majority of the Hindi Movies. this film really have a gay theme inspired by the Hollywood movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

When was this movie banned? Today? It was playing last Thursday, for sure.

yup today.. it was playing even today.. seems no use of ban :s poor Pakistan.

This movie is still there. At least in DHA Cinema, Lahore.
BTW, I loved the movie. It was damn funny
So no complaints against it

@Haris Nadeem: yup, you are right not only in Lahore, all over Pakistan it was in cinemas exclusively. What you think ! it should have been banned strictly or not ?
