Karan Johar Dostan has been banned in Pakistan considering its reputation in India itself. Objectionable ban is imposed by the high court due to possible obnoxious ‘GAY’ content. In India this film is already popped up many discussions over propagating ‘homosexuality’.

Moreove like majority of the Hindi Movies. this film really have a gay theme inspired by the Hollywood movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

Dostana ran for four months at the Cineplex Karachi and it ran at Capri Cinema until Ghajini replaced it a month later. If the idiotic Lahore High Court judge did ban it did not stick. It must have been thrown out the window. The film was cleared by the censor board and was a big hit in Pakistan

This movie is still there. At least in DHA Cinema, Lahore.
BTW, I loved the movie. It was damn funny

yup today.. it was playing even today.. seems no use of ban :s poor Pakistan.
