Heard about Ramchand Pakistani ?Always wanted to see a Pakistani film on international scene. Yet this wish come true with Khuda Key Liye [full movie details] released last year. But faced some obligations being a religion related film taking the philosphies of Islam.

Now after a year or so, here is another movie who has already captivated some minds about its release, including though. The name of this new Pakistani movie, is Ramchand Pakistani. It is a joint collobration with India, both in casts of acting crew, facilities and finally its release.

This movie is based on actual events, the story is about a Pakistani Hindu boy and his father who accidentally cross the border into India from their village in Pakistan at a time of extreme war like tension between the 2 countries and end up spending 5 years in an Indian prison while the mother left behind wonders what has happened to them.

Mehreen Jabbar who is known for her short films and television plays, has now come forth with a movie. The soundtrack is awesome and the actors chosen are sure to deliver their roles amazingly

Directed By Mehreen Jabbar, and written by his father Javed Jabbar, Mohammad Ahmed. This movie is sechuled to released on 1st August 2008.
