YES people like them our an embarrassment to our religion and culture.
Yes I personally agree with you that wearing revealing clothing isn’t acceptable by our cultural and religious standards but at the same time I only emphasised on one thing that was PERSONAL PRIVACY.
If Ali or Soniya are traveling in far-east or in EU and choose to walk around butt naked in some exotic beach then its their own personal choice and they are responsible for their actions and as human beings we are bound to respect their privacy no matter how offended we feel as Muslims. BUT no body holds the right to exploit them specially by putting their personal pics on the Internet and declaring them as gay or lesbian.
We desi people have one major problem that we are always up for pointing our index finger towards other people and blaming them for all sort of bad things while forgetting that the rest of our 3 fingers are pointing towards ourselves.
Live and let other live. Before picking on someone, its better if we first analyse our own selves.

if people like aisha omer and others are roaming in bikinis and (and quite likely doing other stuff too like clubbing and partying and alcohol) then maybe they they are non-religious. then it means they dont care about religion and morals. and that is totally their own issue.
the oly thing that could offend muslims is if these people do all this debauchery and still claim to be ‘moderate muslims’ or something equally lame.
look people its simple. in life we make choices according to whats more important for us. the religion clearly tells people to NOT indulge in casual sex/dating, clubbing, sexy clothes, alcohol, etc. so if religion is important for someone or in other words a person gives a shit about religion then he/she will make a choice and NOT do those things…. simple.

100% true that we’ve got nothing to do with whatever a person does because we’re gonna be accountable for our own deeds.. BUT… the thing is we’re provided with a responsibility to create a good environment around us and to get rid of such people who create FITNAH in the society( which undoubtedly includes MW and AO).. This is really quite amazing. We have all these people who have taken it upon themselves to cast aspersions on someone else’s character simply because that person dons a swimsuit? So let me get this straight, if Ayesha and Maria were wearing a Burqa (or a suicide vest for that matter), they would be model muslimas but western clothing is completely unacceptable? Have we distilled down the tenets of Islam to just: no-alchohol, no-pork and no-western clothes for women? What about equality for all, justice, charity, struggling against tyranny?

i agree with ali and sonia, we should respect our religion and values also. and those who say this that its their personal matter then atleast they should do it in a hidden place. and those say that its right to walk in bikini or swimsuit on beach then i have a question will they allow their sisters to walk with them in this suit. of course not. there are separate swimming pools are available for girls etc so they can do their what ever they want. not on open place.

Its heart breaking to c how so many of us pakistani are finding lame excuses to let go of this act. Bad muslim or gud they are muslims. Bottom line is they carry muslim names and nationality of our country which is not pakistan is actually Islamic Republic of pakistan. Most of your comments about Ayesha & Maria have been viewed by me and it florishes you people own mental idealogies and thoughts which are somehow correct in some perspective. (No doubt).
Being muslim and muslim country, it does not suit us at all but our religion “Islam” also teaches us that if you see any bad deed so try to stop it rather spreading it everywhere.
