The State Bank of Pakistan has changed the colour of the note of Rs 20 and a new note is being issued today.Spokesman of the central bank told that no change has been made in security features and size of Rs 20 note and only the colour has been changed. According to the spokesman, the reason of changing the colour of Rs 20 note is its similarity with the note of Rs 5,000. The SBP has decided to change the colour of Rs 20 note on complaints received in this connection.According to the spokesman, the new notes after being printed have been supplied to all branches of the Banking Services Corporation.The SBP sources said that the old Rs 20 notes would remain in the market and they are not being cancelled.
