Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is now busy sharing his thoughts, discussing his upcoming movies and answering queries on the controversies surrounding him in his newly-created blog.

The Big B, who has followed the footsteps of fellow actors like Aamir Khan to host his own blog, writes that the unabated flow of messages to him has prompted someone to comment that he needs to employ people to help him “or else fear the loss of my fingers”.

On his forthcoming films, he says he is playing a benevolent ghost in Ravi Chopra-directed “Bhootnath”.

“The ghost is very protective of the house he inhabits” and prevents “anyone to come and live there. Until a family with a little boy finds residence in it and how at first he tries to scare them away, but later develops a kind relationship with the little boy,” Bachchan writes on his blog.

“Fun and games in the beginning and then an emotional middle and ending with the ghost leaving behind a few values for the little fellow to follow sums up the story.”

He also writes, “I am at present shooting for ‘Aladin’ on a very elaborate set at Mehboob Studios and doing an action sequence with Sanjay Dutt. I play the genie and Sanju the negative role. Also on the floor is the tentatively titled ‘Shoebite’, which progresses well.”

Bachchan also answered readers’ queries on issues like the ‘outsider’ controversy in Mumbai, saying he has commented on it in several recent interviews and does not feel the need to elaborate on them.

But he also dismisses that report of an incident of bottle-throwing in his house “was manipulated”.
